Paraprofessional

A Paraprofessionals position does not require an accounting degree and builds upon the fundamental skills learned as an Accounting Clerk or Bookkeeper. Seasoned paraprofessionals may also take a mentoring role with entry level Bookkeepers and Paraprofessionals.

Responsibilities typically include:

Performing write-up work for a variety of clients
Preparing individual, corporate, partnership, payroll, business and sales tax returns
Performing bookkeeping and payroll service for clients
Advising clients on accounting procedures
Conduct research for preparation of technical memorandums
